Book Stores
You will find at the Goodwill Bookstore gently used good condition books all hand picked from donations. They are all cleaned, categorized, and alphabetized, by fiction and non fiction, children’s, teen and pre-teen. There are vintage – old and rare collectible books, signed books, and 1st editions. The educational section offers text books, classics, test prep books and home school work books for the little ones. Photo albums, scrap books, journals, and stationery items are always available too. There is a big selection of cookbooks, history, and a categorized spiritual section. The Florida/Regional, Native American, and art book sections are very popular areas as well. There is a comic book section, coin collection books, and from time to time you may find a stamp collection.
There are about 24,000 books on the sales floor and offer new titles daily by shelving up to as much as 600 books per day. There is an audio-video room with block buster movies on VHS & DVD, books on cassette tape and CD’s, computer games and software, and music CD’s all categorized. The “board games & puzzle” section is very popular as well as the jewelry show cases. The designer purses and hand bags are a winner with the ladies. You will find nice house hold wares, lots of trinkets and what knots, back packs, school supplies, designer sun glasses and fancy perfumes. The children’s room has about 10,000 categorized books, a popular spot for moms and little ones. Make sure you visit the bathroom while you are at the Bookstore, it’s a “must see”. On occasion you may find a nice fresh cup of coffee to enjoy while relaxing in the sitting area.
The staff at the Bookstore is always a pleasure and helps creates the unique atmosphere that can be found there. They provide assistance in shopping or questions about specific books or authors. They are very knowledgeable and trained in several areas related to books.
Store hours are Monday through Saturday 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Sunday 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
