Program:  The purpose of the AmeriCorps Goodwill GoodWorks! Program is to provide training and employment services to the disabled and disadvantaged, as well as providing assistance to the homeless population.  This is done by members:

  • Recruiting volunteers
  • Completing barrier assessments
  • Removing barriers
  • Referring to services
  • Providing financial literacy classes
  • Providing computer skills classes
  • Providing one-on-one, on-the-job training
  • Offering employability skills

Positions:  Three positions available:

  1. Volunteer Developer
  2. Resource Connector
  3. Trainer

Full time: (Location:  Panama City) 1700 hours; living allowance, health insurance, child care, $4,725 education award*

Half time: (Locations: Panama City, Perry, Quincy, Chipley, Marianna, Port St. Joe) 900 hours; living allowance; $2,362.50 education award*

Quarter time:  (Locations:  Tallahassee, Valparaiso) 450 hours; living allowance; $1,250 education award*

Minimum time:  (Location: Panama City, Tallahassee) 300 hours; $1,000 education award*

Non-paid member and volunteer positions available at all locations to fit your weekday schedule

*Education award received upon completion of service.
