GAP Partners With Goodwill in the DONATE Movement

From May 19-29, Gap stores in the United States and Canada will accept clothing donations in support of the Donate Movement, an effort powered by Goodwill to educate the public on the positive impacts donations can have on both people and the planet.

Goodwill Breaks Ground on New Apartments for People with Disabilities

On Friday, February 25th, 2011 Goodwill Industries- Big Bend, Inc. broke ground on a 15 unit apartment complex for people with barriers. The apartment complex will be located at 800 Stephens Court in Perry, FL, just north of the Taylor Senior Citizens Center, on land that was the playground for Gladys Morse Elementary School. Right now it’s a just a dirt construction site but in October 2011 it will be home for 15 families.
