Goodwill Industries – Big Bend, Inc.'s Residential Services offers totally accessible and affordable apartment complexes for people with disabilities and elderly individuals.

These apartment complexes allow people in wheelchairs and individuals with limited mobility to function independently. Wide doorways, lowered cabinets and roll-in showers are some of the conveniences that make it possible for residents who have disabilities to live without assistance. Some units are specially equipped for people with visual and hearing disabilities. These apartments are subsidized by the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Rent is based on income and medical expenses.

Oakridge Townhouses is an apartment complex for elderly individuals in Tallahassee. It is subsidized by the United States Department of Agriculture-Rural Development.
